Roofing
Pitched and flat roofing across Kent — repairs, recovers and full replacements. Tile, slate, EPDM, lead work and everything that goes around them: gutters, fascias, soffits and flashings.
What's Involved
Roofing across Kent.
Roofing is the part of a build where corner-cutting shows up worst, usually about three winters later. We do it properly: full underlay, correct lap, proper ventilation, lead flashing dressed by hand, and either a written guarantee on the work or a manufacturer-backed system warranty where the materials allow.
We handle small repairs (slipped tiles, lead flashings, ridge re-bedding) the same week where we can, and full re-roofs over 1 to 2 weeks depending on size and access. Flat roofs we re-cover in EPDM or fibreglass for the long warranty rather than felt.
If you've spotted a leak, missing tiles, or a flat roof that's bubbling, get in touch with photos. We'll usually be able to tell you whether it's a repair or a recover before we even visit.
Frequently Asked
Common questions
How long should a new roof last?
A new tile or slate roof, properly installed with the correct underlay and ventilation, should last 50+ years. EPDM flat roofs come with manufacturer warranties of 20+ years. Felt is cheaper up front but won't last as long — we don't recommend it on anything you want to forget about.
Do you do emergency repairs?
Yes. Slipped tiles, leaks after a storm, blown lead flashings — get in touch with a postcode and we'll get to you the same week. For active leaks we can usually get a temporary cover up the next working day.
How much does a re-roof cost?
A typical 3-bed semi re-roof in Kent runs £8,000 to £14,000 depending on tile choice, complexity (valleys, dormers, chimneys) and whether scaffolding is straightforward. We give an itemised quote after a site visit.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Yes — we can survey, photograph and report for insurance purposes. We'll provide an itemised quote in the format your insurer needs.
